We are seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Scientific Lead for Programme A to join the Ineos Oxford Institute for Antimicrobial Research. The Scientific Lead will be responsible for delivering the drug-discovery component for animal health.
Day to day supervision of PDRAs and PhD students will also be part of your duties. You will ensure that the compound screening pipeline is fully operational, and that chemical hits, leads and candidates are fully analysed including microbiology through to in-vivo toxicity and efficacy studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing summary documents and giving presentations, and be fully aware of activities across the WHO, FAO and WHOA concerning animal health and antimicrobial usage.
This is a full time position and available immediately.
