Faisal is a DPhil student in CJS group with a research interest that focuses on the interface of iron and oxygen in Gram negative bacteria. He investigates bacterial iron sensing mechanism with a particular focus on the role which iron plays in the resistance mechanism to siderophore conjugated antibiotics.
